Do you know God has a purpose and plan for your life?
Our God, who is love, created us with a purpose and plan. When we follow his desires, we will be happy. Content. We won’t look at others and ask why we can’t be like them. God created the universe and everything else, and he values us more than all of that combined.
God gave you your talent.
It’s important to remember not to compare ourselves with others because God gave each of us our own set of skills. Psalm 139:14 says, “I am fearfully and wonderfully made.” Who are we to argue with God? We may never know our full potential on this earth until we enter heaven.
So don’t let your poor self-image take control of your thoughts; instead, let God use you for his glory. Don’t be satisfied with what you have; strive for what God wants for you. He wants to bless you when you honor him. And most importantly, he wants you to love him with all of your being, just as he loves you.
If your parents told you that you were a mistake, that’s not true.
God sees you as you can be and he doesn’t make mistakes. Through his eyes of love and forgiveness, God sees what you will become when you align your life with his will. So dream bigger and trust him. He knew exactly what he was doing when he created you.
You can’t even begin to imagine your potential until you step into his path.
I speak from experience. If you want to see God’s will for your life, read the Bible to discover what he had in mind when he created you. Stop putting yourself down and listen to God as he speaks to you through the Bible.
Matthew 10:30 says, “And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered.” That’s not possible from a human perspective. But from a heavenly perspective, it is, and he can help you with anything. You just need to take the first step and ask Jesus to be your Lord and Savior, and then the Holy Spirit will live inside you to help with everyday life.
Trust him and walk into his plan, then use everything he provides to bring him honor and glory.
A SINNER’S PRAYER:
Dear Jesus, I believe in you. I believe you are the Son of God, that you died for my sins, and that you were buried and rose again as written in the Bible. Please come into my heart so I can have eternal life. Fill me with the Holy Spirit and help me live the way you want me to. Forgive me for my past sins. Guide me in my future so I can live my life for You. Amen.
What do you want God to do with your life if you surrender to him? Or are you satisfied the way you are?
I’m forever grateful that my parents told me how excited they were to finally have a girl. I was loved and adored by my parents and grandparents. What a blessing to have that legacy and compassion to my daughter and my grandkids
So many have been told negative things about their birth. In a world often overshadowed by negativity and despair, your positive narrative feels like discovering a beacon of light so I appreciate you sharing your story—your legacy.
I was the first of three kids and all were wanted. Now I am blessed to call God my heavenly Father.
That’s wonderful. So many children feel unwanted and unloved these days. Parents can be self-centered.
