A son killed by a single bullet. A mother’s heart shattered. As Tammy Horvath struggles to come to terms with her son’s death, a voice tells her to forgive his killer.
With her soul tormented by the loss of her son, Tammy fights to get out of bed every day because she can’t face a seemingly hopeless future. But Luke would want her to be happy. So she pushes forward and embarks on a journey, searching for peace, hope, and a chance to keep her son alive in her heart.
Will God reveal himself and set her free in a way she could never have imagined? Or will Tammy’s spirit forever remain broken by one man’s deed?
Having struggled through life with many horrendous family issues, Tammy always got up and brushed herself off, ready to begin again.
A heartbreaking story, but one that needs to be told, her ability to demonstrate true forgiveness is a model for others to follow, and her path to inner peace is a guide to see others through a similar crisis.
Yet despite intense pain, she’s set free from the past while developing the ability to love the unloveable and forgive the unforgiveable.
A strong example of how God loves us, even in our sin. I loved reading this story and seeing the power of love overwhelm in the face of evil.
She tries to understand her son’s murderer and when she faces him in court, she approaches him with sympathy, even love, and forgiveness.
Tammy’s story of how she coped through love and loss, not just in this one event, but throughout her life is unique, well-written and compelling.
Tammy Horvath’s story which shows the truth of God’s word when he said impossible for man, but with God all things are possible.
I highly recommend listening to the audio version. There is nothing better than hearing an author’s story in their own voice.
Tammy shared her soul and it was raw and real!
I highly recommend this book for anyone who is struggling to forgive.
This book is a heartfelt and poignant story of the power of forgiveness and redemption.
Powerful story of overcoming tragedy with love. … Her story would make a dynamic Christian movie about redemption.

Can Christians Lose Their Salvation?
Can Christians lose their salvation? When my late son was seven, he accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior. But later in life, Luke rebelled against me and told me he didn’t believe in God. He went so far as to say that there wasn’t a God. Does that mean he lost his...
Should I Pray for God to Bless My Son’s Killer?
Should I pray for God to bless my son’s killer? In 2017, a single bullet shot by Tyrone McDuffie killed my son. How should I feel toward this man who took my cherished one and only biological child from this world? Should I hate him or pray for God to bless him? 1...
Why Was It Necessary to Change My Book’s Beautiful Serengeti Sunset Cover?
A book’s cover aims to inform the audience about its contents. I opted for a breathtaking Serengeti sunset with an Acacia tree. In the book’s opening paragraph, my unshakeable faith is compared to the fire-resistant tree. The cover resonated with my story. My writing...
